It is the goal of this research to examine the relationship between production costs, advertising expenses, and sales volume in publicly traded food and beverage industry firms in Indonesia. This study was able to gather data for this research project by using secondary sources like the company's annual financial statements, which can be found on the website www.idx.co.id Purposive sampling was used to select the study's 30 companies from a larger pool of potential participants. A total of 39 samples were examined for classical assumptions, including normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroscedasticity tests, in this study, which included 13 firms that issued financial statements throughout a three-year period commencing in 2018-2020. Multiple regression techniques to data analysis are discussed here.
In the study's findings, manufacturing costs had a negative impact on profit, advertising costs had a negative impact on profit, and the volume of sales had a negative impact on profit. Several factors, including manufacturing costs, marketing expenses, and sales volume, all affect profit.
