PENGARUH BUDAYA KONSUMERISME DAN LITERASI KEUANGAN TERHADAP PERILAKU KEUANGAN (Studi kasus pasa mahasiswa STIEM BONGAYA)


ABSTRACT

Nur Hikma Virani (201910489). The Effect of Consumerism Culture and
Financial Literacy on Financial Behavior. (Supervised by Abdi Akbar Idris and
Zulkarnain Basir).
This study was conducted with the aim of testing and analyzing the
Culture of Consumerism and Financial Literacy on Financial Behavior (Case
Study of STIEM Bongaya Makassar Students). The data used in this study are
primary data collected through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents.
The type of data used is quantitative data. The population is students majoring in
management at STIEM Bongaya Makassar Class of 2019 with a total of 507
people, while the sample taken was 84 respondents obtained by calculating using
the Slovin formula. The results of the questionnaire have been tested for validity,
reliability test, classical assumption test (which consists of normality test,
multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test), multiple linear regression
analysis method, hypothesis testing (which consists of t-test and F-test),
correlation coefficient test and determination coefficient test. The data in this
study were processed using SPSS. The results showed that the Consumerism
Culture variable had no significant effect on Financial Behavior while the
Financial Literacy variable had a positive and significant effect on the Financial
Behavior of STIEM Bongaya Makassar Students.
