ABSTRACT

ST. AISYAH MAJID (2023). The Influence of Organizational Structure and
Leadership on Employee Performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning
Office of South Sulawesi Province (supervised by Abdi Akbar Idris and Abd. Rajab)
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of organizational structure
and leadership on employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning
Office of South Sulawesi Province. Data collection used primary data using a
questionnaire technique whose population was obtained from a simple random
sampling system at the Provincial Public Works and Spatial Planning Office with a
sample size of 36 people. The results of the questionnaire have been tested for
validity and reliability, also tested for classical assumptions in the form of normality
assumptions, multicollinearity assumptions and heteroscedasticity. Methods of data
analysis using multiple regression techniques.
Based on the results of the analysis, it turns out that the results of the study
indicate that the first hypothesis is accepted because organizational structure has a
positive and significant effect on employee performance. The second hypothesis is
accepted because leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee
performance. The third hypothesis is accepted because organizational structure and
leadership simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance.
